Day two and three Syracuse and the island of Ortigia: Visit the historic center of Ortigia on foot, discover the Piazza del Duomo, the fishing port, the local market, the Maniace Castle and the archaeological park of Neapolis.

Day four and five Taormina: Discover its historic center, go to the Church of Madonna della Rocca for an extraordinary eagle-eye view over the city, go to the beach of Isola Bella, visit the Greek Theater, discover the Alcantara Gorges and many other things!

If you are flying to Palermo

Day one

Palermo: Visit the Palazzo dei Normanni, the Cathedral, the churches and palaces of the historic center.

Day two

Agrigento: Visit the most interesting tourist attraction in western Sicily: the Valley of the Temples. At the end of the day, go to the Scala dei Turchi, the other of the places to see in Agrigento. It is the perfect place to enjoy a sunset!

Day three

Selinunte: Visit the archaeological park of Selinunte and enjoy one of its nearby beaches.

Day four and five

Trapani: Do not miss the salt marshes of Marsala when you go to Trapani from Selinunte. In the afternoon, go to the perched village of Erice for a splendid view of the place! For the 2nd day in Trapani, you can take a boat to Favignana, one of the Egadi islands.

Another option for your second day of holidays in Trapani would be to go to Scopello and visit the Zingaro Nature Reserve. Whether you choose one or the other, both Favignana and the nature reserve are incredible places to visit!
